Steven Chang, Managing Partner of CID, has been playing active roles as an entrepreneur, a venture capitalist and a strategic visionary in China and Taiwan. Steven started his investment career at China Development Industrial Bank (CDIB), the largest investment bank in Taiwan. In light of the accelerated migration from global industries toward Asia and the deepening integration between the Greater China and global economies, Steven founded Taiflex Scientific Co. Ltd. and FLEXium Interconnect Inc. respectively, which are among the top opto-electronical component providers in the Greater China region today.
Under his leadership, CID has become one of the fastest growing Asia-headquartered private equity firms. Steven has more than 20 years' experience of cross-strait industry integration and investment. He now serves as board member or consultant at Quanta Computer, Quanta Storage, Kinsus, Taiflex, Flexium. He is also the Vice-chairman of Venture Capital Association of IAC, Director of Taiwan Venture Capital Association and board member of Taiwan National Culture and Arts Foundation.
