Chris Lin, Partner, a seasoned executive with 25+ year experience in consumer/retail/branding industries joined CID in September 2015. Chris started career in consumer marketing/brand management in P&G Taiwan, successfully built Pantene as the number one brand of market share as well as led Pampers to be P&G’s number one sales brand in mid 90s. Joined Nike afterwards, helped grow Nike apparel/accessory to be the most growing sector, and made Taiwan the most profitable country in Nike Asia Pacific. With Chris’ tracking records, he was hired as the Country Manager of J&J Vision Care Taiwan. Turning challenging JJVC business from unprofitable and lack of committed top management to profit, won two times “country of the year” in J&J Asia Pacific, and himself promoted from JJVC Taiwan to Country Manager of JJVC China.
Chris explored career aspiration from consumer/branding industries to retail/operation industries in China. He changed career to KFC/Yum China as the marketing head, working for new initiatives of KFC Delivery and Breakfast. Then strategize expansion of Family Mart becoming the leading convenience store chain in east China region. Chris’ latest career chronicle was the COO of 85c Bakery Café in China and CEO of 85c Bakery Café in the USA, where he developed the company from a local Taiwanese bakery chain in Shanghai to a leading bakery chain in Greater China and in California ; and led the company from private-owned to a public-trading International enterprise listed in Taiwan’s stock market. With Chris’ broad industry knowledge and solid operation background, he will be a great asset for CID’s future endeavor in business strategies/operations and in consumer/retail/branding sectors.
