Samson Yao is currently leading Private Equity in CID. He began his career in the IC design industry and subsequently joined two consulting firms, Accenture and BCG, where he assisted high-tech clients and PE funds with experiences in M&A, strategies, business processes, and IT implementation projects. During the transition between these consulting roles, he also initiated his own IT consulting company in Taiwan.

Before joining CID, he served as a program manager in TSMC’s Corporate Planning Organization. Samson also has a deep interest in the education sector and funded Taiwan’s first Canadian offshore school.
