Jason Hsieh, Partner, heads a team that covers the domestic and cross-border investments in China and Taiwan. Throughout the 1990s Jason was an investment manager at China Development Industrial Bank (CDIB), Taiwan's largest investing firm, and invested over US$30 million dollars in IT companies, domestic and overseas. Jason was a pioneer in leading Taiwan's venture capital into Korea, building up and leading CDIB's Korea investment team and establishing its Seoul affiliate. In 1999, Jason joined CDIB & Partners Investment Holding Corp., a US$300 million dollar collaboration of Taiwan's financial and industrial sectors emphasizing regional investments. He was a Senior Vice President in the Investment Department, overseeing direct investments in southeastern Asia, Korea and Taiwan. Jason joined the CID Group in 2002 and has recently been concentrating on consumer industries in Mainland China and Taiwan.
